  you to the 16th Manchot Lecture given by Professor Eliana La Ferrara (Inv
 ernizzi Chair in Development Economics\, Università Bocconi\, Milan) on t
 he topic "Eradicating Harmful Norms". \nEliana La Ferrara's research is in
  development economics\, with a particular focus on ethnicity\, social nor
 ms\, institutions and the media. She holds the Fondazione Romeo ed Enrica 
 Invernizzi Chair in Development Economics at the Bocconi University in Mil
 an.\nThe lecture will continue the renowned Manchot Lecture Series\, an an
 nual event to which the BGSE invites outstanding researchers to Bonn. The 
 Manchot Lecture is open to the public and addresses a general audience int
 erested in economic research. Registration is not required. Please note th
 at due to the COVID-19 pandemic\, it will be mandatory to wear a face mask
  (medical or FFP2) in the entire venue building\, also during the seated l
