DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, November 17 there will be the first faculty-wide r
 esearch day starting with presentations by Prof. Jaqueline Lorenzen and Pr
 of. Hanna Schwank. The presentations will start at 3 pm in lecture hall K.
  Afterwards there will be an informal get-together at the faculty meeting 
 room next to the dean's office. Invited are all members of the faculty.\n\
 nHanna Schwank will talk about her paper ”Disruptive Effects of Natural 
 Disasters: The 1906 San Francisco Fire”.\nJaqueline Lorenzen will talk a
 bout the topic "Steuerung multifunktionaler Flächen im urbanen Raum".\n\n
 In addition\, they will present a joint project "The mid-term and long-ter
 m consequences of the Ahr valley flood: leveraging individual-level and in
 stitution-level survey data for an interdisciplinary analysis".\n\nWe hope
  that many of you will be able to attend. Please note that the event will 
 be in German.
