Structure of the Study Program: Major-Minor Model
The primary focus of the major-minor subject model is the major subject, which consists of 120 credit points (approx. 70% of the total degree). The economics minor consists of 36 credit points (approx. 25% of the degree) and aims to complement the major subject.

Structure : Economics-Minor
The Economics minor has a total of 36 credit points and is divided into compulsory modules (9 CP) and elective modules (27 CP).
The modules are derived from the undergraduate Bachelor's program in 'Economics.' The modules are offered in an annual cycle and are assigned either to the summer or winter semester.
Compulsory Modules
The compulsory section consists of a foundational module 'Principles of Economics,' which must be successfully completed.
You will learn basic terms and concepts related to economic issues and relationships.
The module is offered in both the summer and winter semesters. Therefore, you can start your minor subject individually—in coordination with your major—either in the 1st or 2nd semester.
Elective Modules
In the subject-specific elective area, you will choose four modules that convey economic methods and their application, as well as deepen your understanding of economic relationships.
The English-language courses allow you to learn the English terminology used in the field. You can freely and individually select from the module catalog of elective modules.
