ECONtribute Public Lecture: Resilience in challenging times: What risks exist in the German financial system? How stable is the German financial system? What risks to financial stability do trade conflicts, geopolitical tensions, and rising government debt ratios pose? And how do current developments in the real estate market and structural changes in our economy and financial system affect its stability? Dr. Tobias Herbst and Niko Plennis from the Deutsche Bundesbank take an understandable look at current developments and challenges. They explain what financial stability means and which institutions in Germany are responsible for it. They also explore the question of how existing measures contribute to the stability of our financial system.
