Ambitions & challenges in data science & research data management
A workshop on ambitions and challenges in data science and research data management will take place on October 6, 2026 (9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) at the Wissenschaftszentrum Bonn.
The event will bring together researchers from across the Transdisciplinary Research Areas (TRAs) and beyond, fostering exchange on key challenges in research data handling. Planned topics include:
Research data management in large-scale projects and clusters of excellence
Data handling in the context of high-performance computing
Open science practices and related challenges
The workshop continues a series of TRA events such as TeRAbytes and TRAnsDigital. Further details, including keynote speakers, the programme, and registration information, will be announced in due course.
