The 7th edition of the WiE Inspire series is hosted by the Women in Economics Initiative e.V., the Economics Student Association, and the Economics Alumni Network of the University of Bonn. This year’s session focuses on career paths outside academia.

Barbara Engels, Senior Economist for Sustainable Digitalization and AI at the German Economic Institute (IW), researches the economic and societal effects of digital technologies. Previously, she worked at the German-Israeli Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Tel Aviv and as a journalist.

Annabel Fabian, Manager Accounting & Regulatory Services at Deloitte, specializes in sustainable finance and regulatory topics in banking.
