In the survey, students particularly rate the course offerings (4.2 out of 5 stars) and library facilities (4.4 out of 5 stars) positively. Supervision by lecturers (4.2 out of 5 stars), study organization (4.2 out of 5 stars), and support for study abroad stays (4.0 out of 5 stars) also receive good ratings.
At the same time, the results highlight areas where the department sees further development potential. With formats such as the ECONtact event series and ongoing improvements, the program is currently focusing in particular on enhancing career and practical orientation within the Bachelor’s program, as well as the appropriateness of study durations.
The classroom and spatial facilities, which were rated more critically by students, are also part of ongoing planning. Improving the physical infrastructure is a central component of the planned new buildings for the faculty’s facilities.
In Economics in Bonn, 57 students participated in the survey. The results refer to the Bachelor’s program in Economics. The full ranking is available at heystudium.de/ranking. According to the provider, the CHE university ranking is the most comprehensive and detailed comparison of higher education institutions in the German-speaking region, based on responses from around 120,000 students.
