How well has communication on Covid-19 worked in disadvantaged communities? Esther Duflo will explore the impact of communication by trusted figures during the COVID Crisis, using evidence from randomized trials in disadvantaged communities, in India and the US.

Esther Duflo’s research focuses on development economics. Her research includes household behavior, education and health policy.

With the Selten Lecture, the Cluster of Excellence ECONtribute and the Reinhard Selten Institute invite on an annual basis internationally renowned researchers for a lecture for interested researchers.
