The Jamboree is an annual two-day academic event that brings together doctoral candidates and faculty members from across the EDP network. Each year, the event is organized by a different partner institution.
The European Doctoral Programme in Quantitative Economics (EDP) is a joint initiative of leading institutions in Barcelona, Bonn, Florence, Louvain-la-Neuve, Paris, and Tel Aviv. The programme offers a coordinated curriculum in economic theory, econometrics, and applied quantitative methods. Doctoral researchers in the programme are required to complete at least three months of research abroad at a partner institution different from the one where they will defend their dissertation. Participation in the Jamboree forms an integral part of the EDP curriculum. All EDP students are required to present their research at least once during their time in the programme.
We look forward to welcoming participants to Bonn in 2025 for an engaging and stimulating academic event.
