Is everyone just out for themselves?! Armin Falk on the Hypothese podcast

Prof. Dr. Armin Falk as a guest on the University of Bonn's Hypothese podcast

In the latest episode of the University of Bonn's Hypothese podcast, Prof.Dr. Armin Falk talks about cooperation among people. Together with Prof. Dr. Peter Andre (Goethe University Frankfurt), Prof. Dr. Teodora Boneva (University of Bonn), and Prof. Dr. Felix Chopra (Frankfurt School of Finance), he recently published the worldwide study "Homo cooperans: Understanding the nature of human cooperation", which produced surprising results.

In the podcast, Armin Falk explains how willing people are to overcome conflicts and meet challenges together. Does self-interest actually take precedence over the common good? And does this hold true worldwide?

In conversation with host Dennis Nasser, the arguments for and against the hypothesis are developed and weighed on the basis of various findings from the study, in order to assess the hypothesis as true or false in the end.
