We are thrilled to announce that the next edition of the annual Manchot Lecture, sponsored by the Jürgen Manchot Foundation, will be held on November 16th. This year, we are privileged to welcome Professor Per Krusell, a distinguished economist from Stockholm University and London School of Economics, as our keynote speaker.
Professor Krusell's significant contributions span across various facets of macroeconomics, including technological change, inequality, political economy, macroeconomic policy, and labor economics. He is currently focusing on a comprehensive study of the interactions between global sustainability, specifically climate change, and the economy. The theme of his upcoming lecture will be announced at a later date.
Similar to previous years, the lecture will be conducted in English and is open to all who are interested in gaining insights into the current trends and research in the field of economics. The venue for this year's event will be the esteemed Universitätsclub Bonn.
